10 Hinata Taught Him The Gentle Fist
Gentle Fist is a fighting style prominently used by Naruto's affluent and respected Hyūga clan. As Hinata's son — and inheriting his father's persistence and large chakra reserves — it didn't take Boruto long to learn the Gentle Fist's basics.
Hinata taught Boruto the Gentle Fist as part of his taijutsu training. He could cause damage by hitting his opponents' chakra points or overpowering them with his hand-to-hand combat skills. Unfortunately, Boruto hadn't activated his Byakugan at the time, so he's limited in unlocking the Gentle Fist's full potential.
9 He Learned The Shadow Clone Jutsu At A Very Young Age
Even before attending the Ninja Academy, Boruto learned the Shadow Clone Jutsu from his father, Naruto Uzumaki, a well-known master of this technique. As an Academy student, Boruto created more than two clones with ease, showing that he's a prodigy.
With further training, Boruto has gotten stronger and can now produce four or more fully developed clones at once. He has yet to learn the Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu, but he's progressed much faster than Naruto did as a genin, barely able to produce one.

This incident was exclusive to the anime, but Boruto signed a temporary summoning contract, giving him access to a ninja snake named Garaga. Naruto fans expected him to work with toads like his father, but this twist threw them for a loop. It might be because he's training under Sasuke, whose summoning animal was also a snake.
Boruto and Garaga's contract concerns whether Boruto's faith in Mitsuki is warranted. They cooperate to defeat Kirara's giant Akuta before Boruto releases Garaga from the summoning contract. Even after the battle, Boruto later bonds with snakes and sometimes relies on them for assistance.
7 The Rasengan Lets Him Mold And Throw Chakra
The Rasengan is an iconic jutsu created by the late Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze. It has been passed down from generation to generation, with the Fourth's grandson, Boruto Uzumaki, as its latest user.

6 He Can Make An Impact With The Boruto Stream
The Boruto Stream is a technique shown only once, but it's still unique to his ninjutsu repertoire. What's fascinating about this jutsu is that Boruto can use a Shadow Clone or one of his teammates, further amplifying its potential.
Boruto can propel himself at high speeds using Wind Release chakra, like a dart shooting through the air. He props his feet against a platform of solid wind and pushes himself off towards the opponent.
5 Sasuke Shows Him How To Harness His Lightning Chakra

During his training with Sasuke, Boruto learns more about lightning-style chakra and how to harness its power. One of the jutsu Sasuke teaches him infuses lightning chakra into a pair of projectile shuriken.
Boruto's affinity with lightning makes it easier for him to learn this attack, as his chakra further enhances the shuriken's cutting power. The chakra surrounding them grows in size, covering more area and increasing the likelihood of substantial damage to an opponent.
4 The Karma Seal Imparts Many Gifts But At A Price

As he was dying, Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki implanted "Karma" into Boruto's arm without him suspecting. This seal was a compression of his biological data that embedded itself into a compatible vessel. Using "Karma's" ability, Momoshiki could rewrite Boruto's genetic data with his own, taking control over his victim's body in a twisted form of rebirth.

While it still threatened Boruto's life, the process was slow. In the meantime, "Karma's" power granted him access to Momoshiki's power during battle, similar to the Nine-Tailed Fox sealed inside Naruto. With "Karma," Boruto performed extraordinary feats such as absorbing chakra-based attacks and manipulating space-time rifts.
3 Boruto Didn't Escape The Sexy Jutsu

Even with his shinobi potential, Boruto still has a cheeky side. Like Naruto, he has a personalized Sexy Jutsu in his arsenal, complete with a four-clone harem version. Boruto hasn't used this jutsu in battle like Naruto did in his fight against Kaguya.
Interestingly enough, even for an E-rank technique, the Sexy Jutsu appears to be one of the best distraction techniques. It's the perfect way to throw an opponent off-guard, long enough to retreat or combine with a stronger attack. However, it depends on timing and who it's used on.
2 The Jougan Is A Multi-Faceted Dojutsu
The Jougan is Boruto's current dojutsu. He can view the chakra as it flows through another person's body, showing him where to pinpoint attacks to block the chakra flow. Conversely, he can use the Jougan to enhance his healing abilities via chakra.
The jutsu allows Boruto to see between dimensions and perceive negative emotions, which can help him determine someone's sincerity. Boruto can't fully control the Jougan, as it only activates during times of great stress. It's a jutsu whose dimensions are constantly expanding with untapped potential.
1 He Can Mix Wind And Lightning Chakra To Create A More Powerful Jutsu
During his genin training, Boruto learns to manipulate multiple chakra natures: water, lightning, and wind. He has mastered several water-based ninjutsu, such as Splash Bullet and Surging Sea, and can mix lightning and wind chakra into his attacks. This is a feat few shinobi have reached.
Boruto's nature affinity is lightning, but he uses various wind-related ninjutsu such as the Gale Palm. He primarily uses the Rasengan but continues to combine two chakra affinities to create more substantial damage. Boruto has his teachers Kakashi and Sasuke to thank for that.
