I asked Nanc if she wanted to go for a ride with me today. She said yes! I popped off the panniers and took her for a leisurely 20 mile ride on two lane country blacktop.....and she actually said she enjoyed it!I am going to try to find a new easy asphalt route for us to try every weekend and see how things go. I told her next time we'll have to put a halyard on her little camera so she can wear it around her neck and snap a few pics while we're on the go. Also need to get a couple pics of her doing her ATGATT thing.
Now, I have got to get some more infor on an all women's MSF course around here after she gets out of school in June.
Wish me luck!
Dang man, good luck with the final on the BMW
http://spokane.craigslist.org/mcy/2356264760.htmlI just ordered one of these last weekend, it should be delivered any day. Too bad I didn't check Craigslist first...$125 off...I feel a little ill. Just a heads up if anyone is interested.
Anyone tried going up Bunco Road yet? Just wondering how far up the snow is.
I'd be interested in that too. ?Does anyone know if there is snow around Twin Lakes, ID as well?

And OUTTA SIGHT Racing is running the Mexican 1000 right now and tomorrow. Guess which one I'm following? You and Robin have a good time in Vegas.
It's been quiet on here lately, what's everyone been up to? A week ago, I had a great ride with Alpha One Nine and the KLR crew. We met up in Worley, rode through Heyburn st park, over to St. Maries. From there we caught the old railroad grade to Calder, where we had lunch. After lunch we decided to give Slate Creek a shot....made it about a mile before we had to turn back due to snow. We then gave Marble Creek a try, got maybe 6-7 miles up it. We split in St. Maries on the way back. The N ID group took 97 up the East side of CDA Lake. Great day of riding, I had just over 300 miles on by the time I got home.I've been looking at some of the tag-o-rama threads on some of the other regional sites...is that something you guys and gals would be interested in doing for the Spokane/NID area? Another excuse to get out.
It was a great ride Brian. We all had a blastToo bad that KTM kept falling apart.
I really enjoyed it. I see Dave put up some pics on his blog. I had forgotten just how far it was to CDA going up the East side of the lake via hwy 97...was getting real nervious on fuel. I'm heading up the N. fork of the CDA to camp this weekend, gotta try the Great Basin out. Heading to Cabelas after work tonight, need a trail pad.
What boundries sound good for a tag-o-rama? I'm thinking Canadian border to the N, Montana on the East, maybe hwy 12 on the south. Western???Also, does anyone know how to set up those "tag" maps in google maps?

I don't know how to do the tags, but it sure does sound like a good excuse to burn up some miles. Hopefully you will include Stevens and Pend Oreille Counties in the mix.
Not sure what that great big thing in the sky is, but I just might have to put on some tinted goggles

MAYBE EVEN SOME BONNERS FERRY/BOUNDARY COUNTY TAGS....

I figured that was a given..... I tried to go back up to HooDoo tonight, but still too much snow. I made it in about 8-9 miles from the Dufort side until I hit too much snow to go on. I figure I was only about 2 miles from the cutoff to the radio towers.

A nice little mud bog I needed to cross, only to find out the road was gated about 2 miles ahead....

Great pics Scoutman, looks like a great ride! With today's temps, it shouldn't take too long for Hoodoo to be passable.Have you been up by Priest Lake? I'm wondering when you can make a loop around the lake yet. I don't know just how high the road is on the northern part.
