Construction of new training centre & renovation of REC Institute of Power Management Training (RECIPMT), Hyderabad

NBCC awarded project worth Rs 100 crore in Hyderabad by bidding through GeM

NBCC has recently received work order related to construction of new training centre & renovation of existing buildings of REC Institute of Power Management Training at Hyderabad.

The project cost is approximately Rs. 100.00 crore, out of which Rs. 60 crore is for Construction of new training centre, hostel, classrooms, auditorium, Kitchen/Dining facility, landscaping in the entire campus, etc. The remaining Rs 40 crore is expected to be spent on demolition of old/ unsafe existing elevated service reservoir, its new construction with modified design/ capacity and renovation of existing RECIPMT buildings comprising of office building, classrooms, hostel & allied buildings.

This is a first such assignment secured by NBCC (India) Limited by participating in tender through GeM portal as a seller. NBCC has secured this tender on Quality Cost Based System (QCBS) method by receiving highest marks after competing with other bidders through GeM.

REC Institute of Power Management Training (RECIPMT) has a land measuring 14 acres in Hyderabad. With the award of executing this work, NBCC shall strive to facelift the old buildings and also to develop new infrastructure for equipping state of the art facilities within the institute.

NBCC CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA 2024

On the occasion of International Day of Yoga 2024, NBCC (India) Ltd., a Navratna CPSE, organized yoga sessions and workshops at its Corporate Office and other offices/ projects across India on 21.06.2024. At its Corporate Office in New Delhi, yoga session was organized in the morning in association with Bhartiya Yog Sansthan. Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD, Smt. B.K. Sokhey, Director (Finance), senior officials and employees of company attended the sessions and performed various yogasanas.

On this occasion a workshop on "Meditation for a Healthy &Happy life" was also organized at its corporate office. The workshop was organized in collaboration with Prajapita Brhama Kumaris Ishwaiya Vishwavidyalaya (PBKIVV), New Delhi. The workshop emphasized the importance of meditation in daily life and the significant role that yoga & meditation can play for stress management & development of positive attitude.

NBCC Signs MoU with Grid-India (Grid Controller of India Limited)

NBCC (India) Limited on 14.06.2024 has inked a MoU with Grid-India (Grid Controller of India Limited) for execution of interior, fit outs and other associated infrastructure works for their new Corporate Office at Ayurvigyan Nagar, New Delhi. The tentative value of works to be executed under this MoU is approximately Rs. 70.00 Crore.

The MoU was signed by Shri Alok Kumar, Senior General Manager, Grid-India and Shri Mudit Bhatnagar, CGM (Engg.), NBCC in the presence of Shri S.R. Narasimhan, CMD, Grid-India, Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD, NBCC, Smt. B.K. Sokhey, Director (Finance), NBCC, Shri Saleem Ahmad, Director (Projects), NBCC and other senior level officials from both the organizations

Earlier, Grid-India, which is responsible for “National Load Dispatch” had purchased this new office from NBCC with around 61,000 sqft at approximately Rs. 270 Crore and has now entrusted NBCC for furnishing its office as well. The new office shall be a Green Building with all sustainable features viz. energy efficient light fixtures, smart building technology, low flow plumbing fixtures. The new building is not only an efficient engineering feat but also amalgamates environmental ecosystem around it with a green belt running alongside and landscaping complementing the modern architecture.

This collaboration between NBCC and Grid-India exemplifies the synergy between two leading entities in their respective fields, pooling their expertise to create a cutting-edge corporate facility that not only meets operational needs but also sets new benchmarks in environmental responsibility and employee well-being.

NBCC signs MoUs in Odisha for projects valuing Rs 155 Crore

MoUs signed with Department of Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Govt. of Odisha and with Odisha State Cooperative Bank (OSCB)

NBCC, a leading Government of India Navratna Enterprise under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, will soon be constructing projects in the state of Odisha. The company entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (SSEPD), Government of Odisha on 13.06.2024 for the planning, designing and construction of an Integrated Infrastructure Complex (IIC) in Bargarh district of Odisha. The MoU was signed by Shrimati Niyati Pattnaik (OAS-SS), Director, SSEPD and Shri Rakesh Narayan Sinha, General Manager (Engg), SBG Odisha, NBCC in the presence of officials from both organizations..

The Integrated Infrastructure Complex (IIC) project holds significant promise for the Bargarh district and its communities. With an approximate project cost of about Rs 73.00 Crore, it aims to serve as a cornerstone for empowerment and accessibility for persons with disabilities. The total built-up area of the building stands at an impressive 8974.72 sqm, providing an ample room for offices, amenities, and communal spaces. The building is designed to be inclusive, with facilities such as lift, staircase, and ramp, ensuring seamless access for individuals with mobility challenges. This facility shall also feature spaces for yoga, meditation, recreation, and spiritual discussions, promoting social interaction and well-being.

Similarly, NBCC has also recently signed an MoU with Odisha State Co-operative Bank (OSCB) for works relating to planning, designing and execution of various buildings of OSCB at Bhubaneswar, Angul, Gopalpur and Cuttack. The tentative value of works to be executed under this MoU is approximately Rs. 82.00 Crore. The MoU was signed by Dr. Kulamani Padhi, Chief General Manager, OSCB and Shri Rakesh Narayan Singh, General Manager (Engg.) in the presence of other senior officials from both the organizations.

NBCC inks MoU with Oil India Limited valuing approx. Rs. 100 cr

NBCC (India) Limited, a Navratna CPSE, inked Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oil India Limited (OIL) on 11.06.2024, for Construction of OIL’s centralized core repository with advanced laboratory facilities at Guwahati, Assam. This work is valued at Rs. 100 Crore approximately.

The MoU was signed by Shri SalomaYomdo, ED (E&D), OIL and Shri Pradeep Sharma, ED (Engg.), NBCC in the presence of Dr. Ranjit Rath, CMD, OIL, Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD, NBCC, Shri Saleem Ahmad, Director (Projects), NBCCand other senior level officialsfrom both the organization.

Further, NBCC and OIL are also in final stages of discussion for undertaking various other works, such as execution of hospital, group housing, guest house, installation of solar rooftop panelsetc. in Assam. The anticipated value of the works is Rs. 900 Crore approximately.

In the recent past, NBCC has received work order from Kochi Metro Rail Limited valuing Rs. 700 Crore for the developing 17.4 acres in Kakkanad and Ernakulam, Kerala. Similarly, NBCC will also be executingthe construction of boy’s hostel for Hindu College, University of Delhi with an approximate value of Rs. 70 Crore.The company will also be executing the construction of office-cum-training institute of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)at Khaitabad, Hyderabad with an approximate value of Rs. 9 Crore.

The Board of Directors in its meeting held on Tuesday i.e., May 28, 2024 approved the Financial Results of the company for the quarter and year ended on 31.03.2024. Company reported operational income of Rs 10,432.64 Cr. and Rs.4024.50 Cr. on consolidated basis for Year & Quarter ended on 31.03.2024 representing a growth of 17.53% and 43.05% on YoY basis respectively.

On standalone basis, company has achieved operational income of Rs.8050.62Cr. for year ended 31.03.2024 & Rs.3031.90 Cr. for quarter ended 31.03.2024 showcasing increase of 19.51% & 36.12% respectively on YoY basis.

The Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at Rs.414.38 Cr. on consolidated basis & Rs.344.36 Cr. on standalone basis thereby representing growth of 49.05% & 48.99% respectively on YoY basis for the year ended 31.03.2024.

BUSINESS SECURED

New Business secured touched Rs. 23,500 Cr. at consolidated level & Rs.18,400 Cr. on standalone level registering a growth of more than 250% & 355% respectively in comparison to preceding financial year.

NBCC gets appreciation from office of Hon’ble President of India

Restoring Heritage: Wooden Replica of Historic Flag Post at Rashtrapati Nilayam, Hyderabad
NBCC erected the highest wooden flagpost in India

The office of Hon’ble President of India appreciated Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD, NBCC along with NBCC team in recognition to their role in constructing the wooden replica of historic flag post at Rashtrapati Nilayam, Hyderabad on 14.05.2024 for its exemplary work in restoring the flag post at Rashtrapati Nilayam in record time. "The dedication and hard work shown by Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD, NBCC and NBCC team were truly instrumental in completion of the project." said the appreciation letter

The completed replica flag post was unveiled by Smt. Droupadi Murmu, Hon’ble President of India in a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Nilayam, Hyderabad on 21.12.2023, and was attended by dignitaries and officials from NBCC and Rashtrapati Nilayam.

This is the highest wooden flag post in the country. The total height of the flag post is 36 meters (i.e. 120 feet) from the top of the old foundation.The recently inaugurated flagpost is made up of high-quality teak wood which is more than 80 years old. Lateral support of total 18 stay wires are provided to keep the flag pole standing in balanced position which are fixed to the stone foundation installed in the ground through the flag post. The work was executed maintaining the highest quality standards and after following guidelines and formalities.The entire work of erecting the flagpost was completed in a period of less than 2 months. At the crucial juncture of erection of the flagpost, NBCC team braved stormy weather conditions including incessant rains to complete the work within time. This was owing to the dedication of NBCC team engaged in the work and its supportive and inspiring leadership.

The history of Rashtrapati Nilayam, Hyderabad over the years has witnessed the ebb and flow of time, bearing witness to India's journey towards independence and its subsequent emergence as a sovereign republic. The historic flag post also stood witness to the integration of Hyderabad state into the Indian Union in 1948.

However, the passage of time had taken its toll on this iconic structure, leaving it weather-beaten and worn. Recognizing the significance of preserving this tangible link to the past and a poignant tribute to the nation's rich history and unwavering spirit, NBCC (India) Limited undertook this monumental endeavor. This symbolic structure, steeped in heritage and patriotism, stands as a testament to India's enduring legacy and the spirit of unity that binds its people together.

NBCC registers historical Performance in FY2023-24

  • Business secured touched Rs. 23,500 Crore at consolidated level, registering a growth of more than 250% over last FY.
  • All time high sales record: Commercial real estate inventory sale at World Trade Centre, New Delhi is stand at worth approximately Rs. 6480 Crore, witnessing a rise of more than 208% compared to sales achieved last FY.

New Delhi, April 23, 2024:

NBCC secured significant business during FY’23-24 and it has secured record new works of sRs. 23,500Crore on consolidated basis and Rs. 18,400 Crore on standalone basis, as compared to Rs. 6,700 Crore (Consolidated basis) and Rs. 4,225 Crore (Standalone basis) in preceding FY.

Major business secured in FY2023-24:

  • Additional FAR works in Amrapali worth approximately Rs. 10,000 Crore.
  • First Re-development project out-side of Delhi i.e; Kerala State Housing Board (KSHB) Project valuing Rs. 2,000 Crore.
  • Diversification into Agri-infrastructure Sector through construction of grain storage under “World’s Largest Grain Storage Plan” with an approximate value of Rs 1,500 Crore.
  • Redevelopment and modernisation of Government of India Presses through self-financing model at Mayapuri, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Nasik & Kolkata, valuing Rs. 750 Crore.
  • Various infrastructure works of SAIL Bhilai, Bokaro, Durgapur & Burnpur valuing Rs. 580 Crore.
  • NIT Sikkim works valuing Rs. 560 Crore.
  • Construction work of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) at various locationsof Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, NER, UP & Delhi valuing Rs. 346 Crore.
  • Other works secured are for Paradip Port Authority (PPA), Indian Medical Association (IMA), Khadi Village Industrial Commission (KVIC), NIFT Varanasi, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), PWD Puduch*erry, etc.

Amrapali: NBCC has successfully completed about 19,000 units in just three years (including 2-years under the influence of COVID-19 pandemic). The company is committed to deliver another 19,000 units before March 2025.NBCC along with Aspire team has achieved sale of over 6,300 units in Amrapali Projects with total sale value of more than Rs. 3,650 Crore.

WTC Nauroji Nagar: NBCC has sold commercial real estate inventory valuing approximately Rs. 6,500 Crore this FY as compared to around Rs. 2,100 Crore in last FY. As on date, the company has sold a total commercial inventory of over 30 lakh sqft through 25 e-auctions having a sale value of over Rs 12,100 Crore. The project is rapidly progressing towards completion with achievement of more than 95% of physical progress.

Works Awarded: During the financial year 2023-2024, at a consolidated basis, the Company has awarded works of approx.Rs. 9,800 Crore pertaining to different projects compared to works of approx. Rs. 6,050 Crore last year,by registering a significant growth of about 62%.

The Public Sector Day 2024 was observed on the 10.04.2024 which was celebrated through a glittering event at SCOPE Complex New Delhi. On this occasion, the first-ever PSUs’ Club, "Scope Social Interaction Centre" was successfully delivered to SCOPE. The project was executed by NBCC Services Limited (NSL), a subsidiary of Navratna CPSE, NBCC (India) Limited. During the occasion, "Scope Social Interaction Centre" was inaugurated amidst esteemed dignitaries, including Shri Sandeep Kumar Gupta, Chairman of SCOPE, Shri Brajesh Kumar Upadhyay, Vice Chairman of SCOPE, Shri Atul Sobti, DG of SCOPE, Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD of NBCC (India) Limited, Smt. B.K. Sokhey, Chairperson of NBCC Services Ltd. and other senior dignitaries from various PSUs.

The project was executed at a cost of over Rs. 9 Crore, showcasing NSL’s commitment to excellence in infrastructure development. Spanning across 24,765 sqft, the facility offers a myriad of amenities, including a Bar Lounge, Multipurpose Hall, Library, T.T. Room, Library Cafeteria, Yoga Room, and various sports facilities. The club also boasts features such as Squash Court, Badminton Court, Basket Ball Court, Kitchen, and water bodies.

The inauguration of Scope Social Interaction on Public Sector Day underscores the celebration of collaborative efforts and the spirit of camaraderie within the public sector. The club stands as a testament to NBCC's and its subsidiary company’s unwavering dedication to delivering excellence in every project undertaken.

NBCC achieves highest sale realization in a single e-auction for sale of WTC Nauroji Nagar

NBCC (India) Ltd during 25th e-auction for WTC Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi has achieved highest sale realization till date with the sale of 4.8 lakh sqft of commercial space for Rs. 1905 Crore. Power Finance Corporation Limited, Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited and Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited are the major organizations who bought space during this e-auction. Out of the total area sold, around 4.38 lakh square feet having sale value of approximately Rs 1,740 Crore has been sold to PSU entities. The total numbers of successful bidders were five, out of which three were PSU bidders and two private entities. The sale marks a significant milestone for the company and demonstrates the exceptional demand for premium commercial space in India's capital.

As on date, the company has sold a total commercial inventory of over 30 lakh sqft through 25 e-auctions having a sale value of over Rs 12,100 Crore. The WTC project, a landmark development, has attracted marquee buyers across various industries. The project is rapidly progressing towards completion with more than 94% of physical progress achieved.

World Trade Centre is redeveloped as commercial centre having approximately 34 lakhs square feet of commercial built up area which is being constructed in place of 628 numbers of old/ dilapidated quarters. Situated in Nauroji Nagar, the WTC enjoys close proximity to major establishments, recreational areas, and transportation hubs like the Ring Road, metro stations, airports, and hospitals. This makes it an attractive location for businesses seeking excellent connectivity and accessibility. The project encompasses about 25 acres of land and features 12 towers, each with 10 floors, offering ample space for businesses to grow and expand.

The WTC Nauroji Nagar have been designed to achieve 3 star GRIHA rating. The concept of efficient water management has been incorporated with focus on water recycle and reuse. The building is equipped with efficient insulation using double glazed façade system in every tower, energy efficient lighting system in lobbies to reduce energy consumption, heat insulated roofs. Rooftop solar panels are installed to minimize the energy consumption from conventional resources. Further adequate capacity STP has been planned along with the concept of Zero Waste Discharge.

With a workforce of around 3,000 engaged in the construction at this moment, NBCC has generated more than 2 million mandays while executing this project.

NBCC successfully executes 24th e-auction for sale of WTC Nauroji Nagar

NBCC (India) Ltd during 24th e-auction has sold approximately 2 lakh square feet of commercial space for approximately Rs. 830 crore in the World Trade Centre project at Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi. The major corporation who has bought space in this e-auction includes NBCC, Oil India Limited and Hamdard Laboratories. Out of the total area sold, around 1.50 lakh square feet having sale value of approximately Rs 605 crore has been sold to PSU entities. The total numbers of successful bidders were six, out of which two were PSU bidders and four private entities. The sale marks a significant milestone for the company and demonstrates the exceptional demand for premium commercial space in India's capital.

As on date, the company has sold a total commercial inventory of over 26 lakh square feett through a series of 24 e-auctions having a sale value of over Rs 10,600 crore. The WTC project, a landmark development, has attracted marquee buyers across various industries. The company has successfully sold around 80% commercial inventory till date, achieving impressive sales figures and setting new benchmarks in the real estate sector.

On this occasion, Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD, NBCC said,

“This success reflects the enduring appeal of the NBCC & WTC Nauroji Nagar, the project's strategic location, and its world-class facilities. The project is rapidly progressing towards completion with more than 95 per cent of physical progress achieved. We are aiming at complete sale of this project by March 2024. Recently, office of CRCS was also inaugurated by Hon’ble Union Minister for Home and Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah Ji. Many prominent PSU’s and MNCs have made WTC as their new address.”

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has appointed NBCC, a Navratna company, as the implementing agency for the redevelopment of Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi. NBCC is authorized to market the commercial space on a freehold basis. With a workforce of around 3,000 engaged in the construction at this moment, NBCC has generated more than 2 million mandays while executing this project.

As a part of the redevelopment of 7 General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) colonies in New Delhi, NBCC has also being tasked with the execution of government colonies at Sarojini Nagar and Netaji Nagar.

NBCC has been a pioneer in bringing and successfully implementing the redevelopment model. In view of this, a unique self-revenue generating model to redevelop the existing old dilapidated Govt colonies and properties is being executed by NBCC.

NBCC (INDIA) LIMITED SIGNS MOU WITH IFCI LTD FOR INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS AND PROPERTY RENOVATION

NBCC (India) Limited, a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IFCI Ltd, a leading financial institution, to collaborate on planning, designing, and executing infrastructure projects, along with repair and renovation works for IFCI's properties across India. The MoU was formally signed by Shri Mudit Bhatnagar, SBG Head (Delhi-1), representing NBCC, and Shri Omkar Chand Rana, GM (Engg.) from IFCI Ltd.

Under this strategic partnership, NBCC will leverage its expertise in infrastructure development and project management to undertake a range of initiatives aimed at enhancing IFCI's properties and supporting its infrastructure requirements nationwide. The activities under the MoU shall be executed for commercial properties of IFCI in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and residential properties of IFCI in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh and Bhubaneshwar.

The approximate value of the works to be executed under this MoU is estimated at Rs. 150 Crore. This collaboration underscores NBCC's commitment to delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions and reinforces its position as a key player in the construction and engineering sector.

NBCC GENERATES RS. 272 CR FOR DEVELOPMENT OF AIIMS, NEW DELHI THROUGH SALE OF COMMERCIAL SPACE

NBCC (India) Limited, a Navratna enterprise under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, has announced the successful e-auction of approximately 61,000 square feet of commercial built-up area in the highly sought-after location of Ayurvigyan Nagar, South Delhi. The transaction, valued at Rs. 272.68 crore, marks a significant milestone in the utilization of prime real estate for commercial development in the national capital.

The esteemed buyer, M/s Grid Controller of India Ltd., a prestigious PSU under the Ministry of Power, has secured this deal at a basic sale price of Rs. 36,000 per square feet. This acquisition by Grid Controller of India Ltd. highlights the strategic importance and commercial viability of the Ayurvigyan Nagar area, which is well-connected to major transportation networks and is at the heart of Delhi's business district.

This commercial space, part of the ambitious Redevelopment Project spearheaded by NBCC for the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi, is designed to meet the highest standards of modern infrastructure. Named “Grande Rue,” the project encompasses three levels of basem*nt parking capable of accommodating 150 cars and features a Ground+3 storey structure dedicated to commercial use.

The proceeds from this sale are earmarked for a noble cause – the construction of housing for the faculty and staff members of AIIMS Delhi. This initiative not only addresses the housing needs of AIIMS employees but also contributes to the overall development and upliftment of the Ayurvigyan Nagar area.

NBCC: Steadfastly Committed to Completing Amrapali Projects, Fulfilling Homebuyers' Dreams

In a recent development regarding the Amrapali projects, NBCC (India) Limited, a Navratna CPSE, has been granted an in-principle approval by the Greater Noida Authority for a 3.5 Floor Area Ratio (FAR). The projects, estimated at a value of around ₹10,000 crore, include Centurian Park (GH-05, Sector Tech Zone-IV, Greater Noida), Golf Homes (GH-02, Sector-4, Greater Noida), Leisure Park (GH-01, Tech Zone-IV, Greater Noida), Leisure Valley (GH-02, Tech Zone-IV, Greater Noida), and Dream Valley (GH-09, Tech Zone-IV, Greater Noida), all located in the Tech Zone-IV sector of Greater Noida.

In March 2023, the Hon’ble Supreme Court asked NBCC to submit a proposal on the unused Floor Area Ratio which is the ratio between a building’s total constructed floor area and the land area. This additional FAR would allow NBCC to construct new dwellings on the unused land in the five projects, sell them and utilize the proceeds to pay off the embattled firm’s pending dues.

Collectively, these projects span a total plot area of 305.59 acres, with 75.24 acres of vacant plot area now earmarked for development. The FAR development is set to encompass close to 1.6 Cr. Square Feet, offers a variety of unit types including 4BHK, 3BHK, and 2BHK units. The number of units per floor will vary, ranging from 4 to 8, with a total of 80 towers planned in these 5 projects. The built-up area is projected to reach around 2.23 Cr. Square Feet excluding basem*nt area.

On this occasion, Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD, NBCC said, “By diligently completing these projects, NBCC is not just constructing buildings, but fulfilling the dreams of thousands of homebuyers who have invested their hard-earned money and aspirations into these projects. Completion will provide them with their long-awaited homes, bringing stability and happiness to their lives. The company is confident that through its dedicated efforts and continued support from stakeholders, it will achieve this ambitious target and deliver justice to the Amrapali homebuyers.”

Status of the existing/ongoing work: There are 26 projects in total with 11 projects in Noida, 14 projects in Greater Noida and one project in Manesar. 12 Amrapali projects, namely Eden Park, Sapphire-1, Princely Estate, Silicon City-1, Platinum & Titanium, Zodiac, and Silicon-2 located in Noida and the projects of Castle, Leisure Valley Villas, Centurian Park Low Rise & O2 Valley, Kingswood and Leisure Park located in Greater Noida have been completed by NBCC.

Currently, 14 projects are under execution. A strong workforce of approximately 10,000 is working across various projects. One commercial project in Greater Noida, i.e., Tech Park is yet to be started.

NBCC has completed and started to hand over units to Ld. Court Receiver/Committee/Home Buyers. Around 16,000 flats across various projects are completed. NBCC is committed to complete the projects having approximately 22,000 units including finishing work before March 2025. Close to 6000 units have been sold with a sale value of close to Rs 3500 Crore.

Asset Monetization In a concerted effort to optimize asset utilization and drive economic growth, NBCC and HUDCO will also collaborate on Asset Monetization activities. NBCC EMBARKS ON TRANSFORMATIVE PROJECT: NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (NIT), SIKKIM

NBCC (India) Limited, a Navratna CPSE, is proud to announce its partnership in the development of the permanent campus of the esteemed National Institute of Technology, Sikkim. The campus site is situated amidst the serene landscapes of Khamgdong village located 45 kms away from Gangtok. The sprawling 100-acre campus will see the development in 50 acres as permanent campus of NIT Sikkim and serve as a beacon of innovation and academic brilliance. NBCC TO EXECUTE KEY PROJECTS IN UTTAR PRADESH, MADHYAPRADESH AND TELANGANA

NBCC (India) Limited, a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, shall be executing key projects in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Telangana.

NBCC will undertake infrastructural development works for the Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agriculture University across multiple campuses in Jhansi, Datia, Newari, and Morena/Khajuraho over the next three years. The project, valued at Rs 331.9 Cr, underscores NBCC's commitment to contributing to the advancement of educational infrastructure in the country. The development works include construction of Boys Hostel, Girls Hostel, Academic buildings comprising of classrooms and labs for Jhansi campus. Construction of Auditorium, sports facility, fisheries ponds and hostels shall be done for Datia Campus. The Office building, training hall and external development shall be executed for Newari Campus and Academic building and hostel for undergraduates shall be built for Morena/Khajuraho campus. NBCC has already been associated with the university for execution of various infrastructure.

In another significant development NBCC has been entrusted with the responsibility of implementing the renovation and furnishing of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Bhawan in Noida. Under the terms of the MoU signed between NBCC and ICAI in the project's cost is approximately Rs. 24.98 Cr. The renovation works of total plot area of 1995 sqm will be done by NBCC which includes dismantling the existing floorings, walls, staircases, lifts, toilets etc and planning, designing, providing architectural and engineering consultancy services for the office floor layouts, civil works etc. Other works include terrace PEB works, solar works, stack car parking, sumps, drainages system and various electrical works.

Further, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the High Court of Telangana for the development of a single Court Complex and Residential Quarter in Boath, Adilabad district, Telangana.The MoU, signed on February 18, 2024, marks a significant step towards enhancing the judicial infrastructure in the region. Principal District & Sessions Judge, Adilabad district, Telangana and Chief General Manager (Engineering), NBCC were the signatories to the agreement. The ceremony witnessed the presence of Registrar (Infrastructure), High Court of Telangana along with other esteemed officials from both the High Court and NBCC.The project, with an estimated cost of approximately Rs.12.17 Cr, aims to provide state-of-the-art facilities for the judicial fraternity and ensure efficient delivery of justice in the region. NBCC through its continued good performance is expecting to secure more projects for building of judicial infrastructure in the state.

The court complex and residential quarter will be built on an area of 27190 sq ft and 3262 sqft in Boath mandal,50 kms away from district headquarter Adilabad, Telangana. The building will be divyangjan friendly andequippedramps and lifts. Power back shall be through UPS and DG set. WORLD TRADE CENTRE, NEW DELHI INCHES TOWARDS COMPLETION

World Trade Centre situated in Nauroji Nagar is inching towards completion. The project is rapidly progressing towards completion with more than 90% of physical progress achieved.

During the recent 23rd auction of World Trade Centre the company has sold an unsold commercial inventory of 48000 sq. Ft (approx) having a sale value of Rs 191.20 crore. As on date, the company has sold a total unsold commercial inventory of 24.4 lakh sq.ft. through multiple open e-auctions having sale value of Rs. 9848 crore (approximately) thereby achieving more than 70% inventory sale. With a workforce of around 3000 engaged in the construction of the project, it is expected that the project will be completed in the current FY 2023-24. Many prominent corporate have invested in WTC including HDFC, GAIL, Petronet LNG etc. Recently, HDFC has bought a full tower valuing Rs. 1130 Cr. owing to the popularity of the project.

As a part of the redevelopment of 7 GPRA colonies in New Delhi, NBCC was tasked with the construction of three government colonies, i.e., Sarojini Nagar, Nauroji Nagar and Netaji Nagar. Netaji Nagar originally consisted of 2772 old dilapidated quarters with appx 1.50 lakhs sqm BUA. These old dilapidated quarters are being redeveloped with construction of 2458 new GPRA units with appx. 4.82 lakh sqm of BUA, GPOA with 2.42 lakh sqm and associated social infrastructure. Sarojini Nagar colony is being redeveloped partly as residential colony with 6730 GPRA quarters having 10.85 Lakhs sqm BUA and partly as Commercial hub with 35000 sqm BUA and associated Social infrastructure. The projects will be completed and handed over in phased manner over a period of 2-3 years thereby changing the landscape of nearby adjacent area. The total employment generation across the three colonies executed by NBCC is over 1.12 Cr. man-days till now.

New Delhi’s only World Trade Centre at Nauroji Nagar recently saw the inauguration of its first office space. The state of the art office of Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies (CRCS) was inaugurated by Shri Amit Shah, Hon’ble Union Minister for Home and Cooperation.

REDEVELOPMENT OF MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS HOUSING AT KG MARG, NEW DELHI TO BEGIN SOON

The "Bhoomi Poojan Ceremony" for the redevelopment of Ministry of External Affairs Housing at KG Marg, New Delhi, took place on February 14, 2024. The event witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries including Shri Y.K. Sailas Thangal, Joint Secretary, MEA, Ms. Nidhi Anand, Senior Architect, MEA and Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD, NBCC. Ms. B.K Sokhey, Director (Finance), NBCC, Shri Saleem Ahmad, Director (Projects), NBCC and Shri Manoj Shrivastava, GM, NBCC along with other distinguished guests from both organizations were present on the occasion.

With a project value of approximately Rs 261.70 Crores, NBCC has been entrusted with the execution of this transformative endeavor. The scope of work includes the construction of 54 Type-VI Quarters, 18 Type-IV Quarters, and 18 Transit Quarters, reflecting a commitment to providing modern and sustainable housing solutions. The project's overarching objective is to achieve a 4 Star GRIHA rating, underscoring the emphasis on environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.

CONSTRUCTION OF NEW ACADEMIC BUILDING FOR FACULTY OF TECHNOLOGY, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI TO BEGIN SOON

In a significant milestone for the University of Delhi's expansion efforts, the "Bhoomi Poojan Ceremony" for the construction of a new Academic Building for the Faculty of Technology took place today at the North Campus of the University of Delhi. The esteemed event was graced by Prof. Yogesh Singh, the Hon’ble VC of Delhi University. Shri K.P.Mahadevaswamy, CMD, NBCC. Shri Saleem Ahmad, Director (Projects), NBCC along with other senior officers from both organizations were present on the occasion.

The Academic Building for the Faculty of Technology is a visionary project, with a total estimated cost of Rs. 195.65 Crore, to be executed by NBCC. Spanning approximately 285,000 sq. ft., the state-of-the-art facility will comprise classrooms, labs, workshops, HoD office, professor’s & allied staff offices, admin & accounts offices, and a multipurpose hall.

With a commitment to sustainability, the project aims to achieve a 3 Star GRIHA rating. Notable sustainable features include greywater recycling for landscape irrigation and flushing, passive design strategies, solar photovoltaic energy generation, and a rainwater harvesting system. Additionally, the building will ensure barrier-free circulation to make it accessible for all.

The University of Delhi's endeavour to provide world-class pedagogy is further underscored by its investment in large infrastructure projects. Alongside the Academic Building for the Faculty of Technology, other major projects include the "Academic Building for Institute of Eminence" and New Hostel Buildings, collectively valued at approximately Rs. 650 Crore, all the projects are being executed by NBCC.

This new Academic Building signifies the University's commitment to innovation, sustainability, and providing enhanced learning environments for its students and faculty.

NBCC NET PROFIT INCREASES BY 93%

Result Highlights for Quarter ended on 31.12.2023 (Standalone)

  • – PAT increased by 93.06%.
  • – PBT increased by 81.08%.
  • – Turnover increase by 21.59%

The Board of Directors in its meeting held on Tuesday i.e., Feb 13, 2024 approved the Financial Results of the company for the quarter and nine months ended on 31.12.2023. Company reported turnover of Rs 1914.10 Cr. and Rs. 5006.26 Cr. on standalone basis for the quarter and nine months ended on 31.12.2023 representing a growth of 21.59% and 11.85% on YOY basis respectively.

The company earned Profit Before Tax of Rs. 125.66 Cr. and Profit After Tax of Rs 93.67 Cr. on standalone basis for the quarter ended on 31.12.2023, showcasing a jump of 81.08% and 93.06% on YOY basis respectively.

Company earned Profit Before Tax of Rs. 313.41 Cr. and Profit After Tax Rs 242.07 on standalone basis for the nine months ended on 31.12.2023, showcasing a increase of 71.61% and 79.63% on YOY basis respectively.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri K P Mahadevaswamy, CMD, NBCC said “ NBCC is focused on its growth trajectory and the financial figures reflect the same. We are keen to explore Redevelopment projects across the country, especially after successful projects at Nauroji Nagar, Sarojini Nagar and Netaji Nagar in New Delhi. Further, we stand committed to complete the Amrapali Projects by March 2025 and fulfill the dreams of thousands of homebuyers.”

On consolidated basis, NBCC achieved turnover of Rs 6366.99 Cr. by earning PBT of Rs 360.91 Cr. and PAT of Rs 272.88 Cr. for Nine month ended on 31.12.2023 thereby recorded a growth of 63.30% and 66.02% for PBT and PAT respectively.

NBCC: Building a Healthier India through Robust Medical Infrastructure

NBCC (India) Limited has emerged as a key player in strengthening the nation's health and medical infrastructure. With a commitment to improving healthcare accessibility and quality, NBCC has undertaken numerous significant projects across India, impacting millions of lives.

In a recent development, the Department of Medical Education & Ayush, Government of Maharashtra has awarded 3 work orders to HSCC, a wholly owned subsidiary of NBCC, namely, construction of 600 bedded general hospital, 250 bedded cancer hospital and 250 bedded super specialty hospital valuing Rs. 459 Cr. approximately at Rajarshee Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Government Medical College, Kohlapur.

General hospital: This 600 bedded general hospital having a built-up area of 40,250 sqm shall be executed at a cost of Rs. 326 Cr. The major facilities planned in this LG+G+7 structure includes emergency area, operation theatres, general wards, OPD rooms, diagnostics rooms, doctors & nurses rooms to name a few.

250 bedded cancer hospital: To be executed at a cost of Rs. 55 Cr., this hospital will offer a one stop solution for all the cancer patients of Kolhapur and nearby areas. The hospital will have a built-up area of 23,950 sqm with LG+G+6 structure. The major facilities planned in this hospital include dose therapy area, OPD complex, OT complex.

250 bedded super specialty hospital: The super specialty hospital with built-up area of 23,400 sqm shall be executed at a cost of Rs.78 Cr. The structure will have a LG+G+6 configuration and the planned facilities includes general wards, OPD wards, ICU wards, doctors & nurses rooms etc.

Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, inaugurated the permanent campus of NBCC built Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur on 3.02.2024 in the august presence of Shri Raghubar Das, Hon’ble Governor, Odisha, Shri Naveen Pattanaik, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Odisha, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Minister for Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Hon’ble Minister for Railways, Communications and Electronics & Information Technology, Shri Bishweswar Tudu, Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of Jal Shakti and Tribal Affairs and other dignitaries.

On this occasion, Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD, NBCC said that the 200 acre IIM Sambalpur campus with 32 buildings having built-up area of 64,000 sqm has been completed by NBCC with sustainable and energy efficient features within time and cost. Regional Sambalpuri art has been embedded in the architecture of the campus buildings with traditional lkat pattern mapped into the brick facade with remarkable elegance.

IIM Sambalpur, a Beacon of Excellence: The campus of IIM Sambalpur has been developed at Basantpur village in Sambalpur district in the close proximity of NH53 and state highways. IIM Sambalpur had assigned NBCC for providing the “Project Management Consultancy” services for this project. NBCC shall also maintain the entire infrastructure facility for the next 2 years.

The campus boasts several key blocks including the Administration, Academic, Auditorium, Innovation and Library Block, Faculty and MDP. Accommodation facilities include residence for faculty & staff and hostels for students and scholars. Additional amenities comprise shopping complex, activity block, sports & recreation facilities with an open-air theatre adding to the aesthetic appeal.

The 4-star GRIHA rated sustainable campus follows energy efficient and ecologically sensitive principles of development. Living spaces are 100% day lighted thereby lowering artificial lighting consumption. The treated water from STP is being used for irrigation and flushing. Rooftop photovoltaic solar power plant, solar water heating systems and solar street lights contribute towards lower power consumption.

NBCC partnering in Odisha’s progress: NBCC has been closely associated with the development key infrastructure projects in Odisha. Some of the key projects include 500 Bedded Medical College & Hospital, Talcher, Development of Sports Facilities for New Medical College, Science Academy, Development of Vyas Sarovar in Jajpur, IIT, Bhubaneswar, Ravenshaw University Cuttack, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, National Law University etc

Apart from the above, NBCC has entered into building agri-infrastructure for construction of world’s largest grain storage plan in cooperative sector. Till now, 56 MoUs have been signed with various Primary Agriculture cooperatives and cooperative banks in the state. Kaushal Bhawan is a state-of-the-art office building equipped with modern facilities and amenities befitting the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship's mission to foster its initiatives across the Nation. Located in New Moti Bagh, New Delhi, Kaushal Bhawan was inaugurated by Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu on 24.01.2024 in the presence of Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Shri Rajeev Chandrashekhar, Hon’ble MoS for Electronics and IT, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Jal Shakti; Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD, NBCC, Shri Saleem Ahmad, Director (Projects), NBCC and other senior officials from Government of India and NBCC.

Expressing his happiness on this occasion, Shri Mahadevaswamy briefed Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu that Kaushal Bhawan has been designed in such a manner to accommodate and support the existing trees. The main attraction of the office complex is a over 80 year old majestic banyan tree with a girth of 7 meters, serving as a focal point and enhancing aesthetic appeal of the surroundings.

The auditorium in Kaushal Bhawan has a capacity of 240 seats. Covering an area of 1.354 acres, this 7 storied building has a built up area of over 23,000 sq. m and a seating space for around 700 persons, was built at a cost of around Rs.150 Cr. and has a parking capacity of over 200 cars. The solar power system (30 kilowatts peak (KWp) capacity) installed in the building of reduces reliance on conventional power and contributes to environmental sustainability. Besides, LED lights throughout the premises and automatic occupancy sensors are installed, ensuring that lights are turned off in unoccupied areas. Keeping in view the welfare of employees, there is space for gym and yoga offering fitness and wellness activities and the facility of a crèche.

Kaushal Bhawan also features, a rainwater harvesting plant with a capacity of 55 m3 which efficiently collects and stores rainwater, promoting sustainable water management within the building an advanced sewage treatment plant (STP). The STP has a capacity of 90 KLD along with a water treatment plant of similar capacity.

THE FIRST OFFICE SPACE AT WORLD TRADE CENTRE NAUROJI NAGAR, NEW DELHI INAUGURATED

Hon’ble Union Minister for Home and Cooperation inaugurated the office of Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies (CRCS)

New Delhi’s only World Trade Centre at Nauroji Nagar recently saw the inauguration of its first office space. The state of the art office of CRCS was inaugurated by Shri Amit Shah, Hon’ble Union Minister for Home and Cooperation. CRCS will be occupying approximately 41,000 sqft of super built up area valuing approximately Rs. 165 crore at World Trade centre (WTC), Nauroji Nagar. The world trade centre will also have provision for ample car parking space.

Development of Nauroji Nagar and other GPRA colonies:-
Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Government of India appointed NBCC (India) Ltd, a Navratna, Govt. of India Enterprise, as implementing agency for re-development of Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi. NBCC is authorized to market the commercial space on freehold basis. NBCC is building Delhi’s only World Trade Centre situated in Nauroji Nagar, which is one of the largest commercial hubs with modern facilities and amenities and this project.

Unique Green Features:-
NBCC is working towards “zero emission” in its construction business. The company has taken utmost care in planning and designing of these projects to make them resource efficient throughout their life cycle with reduced impact on environment & Climate. All these projects have been designed to achieve minimum 3 star GRIHA rating.

  • The concept of efficient water management has been incorporated with focus on water recycle and reuse using dual plumbing system for using treated STP water for flushing and horticulture, Low Flush Toilets, and Rain water harvesting.
  • Further adequate capacity STP has been planned along with the concept of Zero Waste Discharge. Concept of Roof Top Solar power system has been incorporated to tap into solar potential.
  • The required pollution mitigation measures have been taken at the construction sites, such as barricading of sites with metallic sheets, using anti-smog guns to settle dust particles at working locations, covering loose material/debris with fabric sheets, regular sprinkling of water on the open areas, regular washing of wheels of the vehicles entering and exiting the site. Green net shields are being used to cover all faces of blocks under construction so as to minimize spreading of dust in the environment.

Boost to Quality Education in Varanasi

MoU for Construction of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Varanasi Signed by NBCC (India) Ltd.

As a part of NBCC’s continuous efforts in executing state-of-art education institutes in the country, NBCC signed MoU with National Institute of Fashion Technology for planning, designing, execution and construction of NIFT campus at Varanasi. The work shall also include the modification of existing buildings of Trade Facilitation Centre (Pt Deendayal Hasthkala Sankul) as a part of the campus. The campus will be a hub for students interested in fashion designing and will provide workshops and short courses for local artisans to help them market their products and improve the production capacity. The NIFT campus is to be built at an approximate cost of Rs 218 crore and is expected to come up near the Stadium road close to Varanasi ring road. The campus will spread across 7.5 acres of land. The campus shall feature Academic, Administration, Workshop & Hostels and residential Facilities. It is to mention that NBCC has successfully executed NIFT campuses at Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad. It is expected that this construction shall aid is generation of local employment in the tune of approximately 4.5 lakh mandays. NBCC in a effort to ensure sustainable building construction will oversee the use of modern construction technologies and will undertake the project with best environment friendly practices.

NBCC had also successfully executed Deen Dayal Hastakala Sankul (Trade Facilitation centre and crafts museum) at Badalalapur in Varanasi. The facility was dedicated by Hon’ble Prime Minister fto the Nation with a vision to encourage people to visit the center and further amplify tourism in the region. He had emphasized on the positive impact that Deendayal Hastkala Sankul would have on the lives of the artisans and weavers and further inspire future generations to carry on the legacy.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Shri Pradeep Sharma (CGM), NBCC, Shri Gaurav Mishra, Joint Director, NIFT in the presence of other senior officers from both the organisations.

Since establishment of NIFT in 1986, this pioneering institute of fashion education in the country has been providing professional human resource to the textile and apparel industry. Over the years NIFT has also been working as a knowledge service provider to the Union and State governments in the area of design development and positioning of handlooms and handicrafts.

Shri Mansukh Mandaviya, Hon’ble Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), today, inaugurated the new building of Sports Injury Centre (SIC) at Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital, executed by NBCC on 08.01.2024. He also inaugurated Accident and Emergency Block at Lady Harding Medical College and Hospital, New Hostel Block at ABVIMS & Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Hostel & Academic Block at Rajkumari Amrit Kaur College of Nursing which were executed by HSCC, a subsidiary of NBCC (India) Limited.

Expressing his happiness, Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD, NBCC said, “NBCC is committed to play a vital role in India's healthcare infrastructure development along with its subsidiaries. Built at a cost of approx. Rs. 350 Cr. the Sports Injury Centre will have diagnostic, physiotherapy, rehabilitative, surgical and inpatient facilities under one roof and will cut short the waiting list of patients. This will also boost the existing bed strength of 40 to over 150 beds and six operating rooms from earlier three. With all the modern facilities, technology and amenities this centre will now be one of the largest medical outfits in the South East Asia with a total built up area of over 43000 sqm catering to the specific needs of the sportsmen and women. NBCC (India) Limited has been awarded the work of construction of new multi- storied staff quarters (100 nos) complex at Bhoinagar, Bhubaneshwar by Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL). The total cost of the work is Rs.69.03 crore.

NBCC is successfully executing various projects with value of over Rs 3000 Crore in Odisha. The major ongoing projects include IIT Bhubaneshwar, IIM Sambalpur, PMGSY works in Odisha, MCL Medical College, Talcher and various development work for District Mineral Foundation at Jajpur. The total cost of the work is Rs.98 crore.

NBCC SECURES WORK OF BHUBANESWAR METRO RAIL PROJECT (BMRC) WORTH INR 88.90 CRORE

NBCC has been engaged for the construction of staff quarter residential building by DMRC as Project Management Consultant (PMC). The total cost of the work is Rs. 88.90 crore.

It is mentioned that earlier this year an MoU was signed between DMRC and NBCC to work together in the field of infrastructure development in India and abroad.

NBCC sells 5,000 Amrapali units valuing Rs. 2,900 Cr.

In a step towards the resolution of stuck Amrapali project, NBCC (India) Limited has completed the sale of 5,000 flats having a value of around Rs. 2,900 Cr. This is a significant step towards delivering relief to the thousands of purchasers who have been waiting for years for their apartments. With this, the company has completed the sale of over 80% of the inventory available.

The sale of these 5,000 units has been conducted by Amrapali Stalled Projects Investments Reconstruction Establishment (ASPIRE), a company floated to complete the pending Amrapali projects, under the supervision of the Supreme Court-appointed Ld. court receiver.

Further, NBCC is also completing and delivering the stalled/uncompleted projects of Amrapali. There are 26 projects in total with 11 projects in Noida, 14 projects in Greater Noida and one project in Manesar. Amrapali projects, namely Eden Park, Sapphire-1, Princely Estate, Silicon City-1, Platinum & Titanium, Zodiac, Silicon-2 located in Noida and the projects of Castle, Leisure Valley Villas, Centurian Park Low Rise & O2 Valley, Kingswood located in Greater Noida have been completed by NBCC. These 11 projects are valued around Rs.1100 Crore.

Currently, 14 projects with a value of around Rs. 7100 Crore are under execution. A strong workforce of approximately 8000 is working across various projects. One commercial project in Greater Noida, i.e., Tech Park is yet to be started.

NBCC has completed and started to handover units to Ld. Court Receiver/Committee/Home Buyers. Around 15,000 flats across various projects are occupied. Under its scope of work, NBCC had to complete 15,915 units along with its structure, out of which the structure of 13,150 units (over 82%) have already been completed and work is in progress to complete the remaining 2765 units. NBCC is committed to complete the projects including finishing work before March 2025.

Smt. Droupadi Murmu, Hon'ble President of India inaugurated NBCC built wooden replica of historic flag post at Rashtrapati Nilayam Hyderabad on 21.12.2023. The historic flag post marks the integration of Hyderabad state into the Indian Union in 1948.The recently inaugurated flag post is the tallest wooden flag post in India. Hon’ble President applauded the efforts of NBCC for timely completion of the project.

Speaking on the occasion Shri. K.P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD, NBCC said, “Today marks a significant moment as we inaugurate the new flag post, a symbol of our unvawering commitment and unity. This milestone reflects our dedication to upholding the values that define our organisation and the pride that we hold in serving our Nation.”

The total height of the flag post is 36 meters (i.e. 120 feet) from the top of the old foundation.The recently inaugurated Flagpost is made up of high quality teak wood which is more than 80 years old. Lateral support of total 18 stay wires are provided to keep the flag pole standing in balanced position which are fixed to the stone foundation installed in the ground through the flag post. The work was executed maintaining the highest quality standards and after following guidelines and formalities.

NBCC CONDUCTS 22nd AUCTION SALE FOR UNSOLD COMMERCIAL INVENTORY IN WORLD TRADE CENTRE, NEW DELHI

NBCC (India) Limited conducted 22nd auction for the sale of commercial space in the World Trade Centre, Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi. The Company has sold a total unsold commercial inventory of 2.23 lakh sq. ft. (approx.) having sale value of Rs. 905.01 crore, out of which 0.43 lakh sq.ft. area having sale value of Rs. 191.84 crore has been sold to private entities.

Further, as on date, the company has sold a total unsold commercial inventory of 23.92 lakh sq.ft. through open e-auction having sale value of Rs. 9656.62 crore.

NBCC to implement the largest grain storage project in the world in the cooperative sector

NBCC signs MoU with NCDC and NABARD for project implementation

NBCC inked a framework Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) and National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) for construction of world’s largest grain storage plan in cooperative sector. NCDC has associated NBCC to render project management consultancy services on EPC Model.

NBCC shall initially construct 1469 nos of grain storage units across various states of India with an approximate value of Rs 1500 crore. These units shall be constructed using innovative building technologies.

Expressing his happiness on this development, Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD, NBCC said, “NBCC is delighted to be a part of creation and strengthening the agri-infrastructure in the country. I believe such initiatives will be instrumental in helping the farmers of the country in getting access to proper storage facilities, especially in the rural areas.”

In a bid to expand its footprints in the global arena, NBCC (India) Ltd., a Navratna PSU is actively exploring business opportunities in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a recent development, an e-meeting was held under the chairmanship of Joint Secretary, (HFA), Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs on cooperation in Housing and other infrastructure. The meeting was attended by Shri Abdulrahman Altawil, Deputy Minister, Real Estate Development, Saudi Arabia, representatives from the National Housing Company (NHC), Saudi Arabia and senior NBCC officials.

NHC, Saudi Arabia is actively collaborating with various countries to develop real estate, affordable housing, innovative building technology in Saudi Arabia. NBCC has expressed interest in collaborating with Saudi Arabian companies for new business opportunities in Saudi Arabia.

As per a recent report, by a reputed consultancy firm, Saudi Arabia will need to create approximately 1.2 million new homes to reach a housing stock of 4.96 million houses by 2030. Housing demand is expected to increase from 99,600 houses in 2021 to 153,000 houses by 2030 with an average of 124,000 houses over the period.

The meeting with representatives of Saudi Arabia thus presented a good platform for a strong commitment for further collaboration and exploration of joint ventures in the affordable housing and construction sectors, keeping in mind the shared goals of both Nations.

This is the highest sale realisation in a single auction since launch of WTC, New Delhi in 2017.

Further, as on date, the company has sold a total unsold commercial inventory of 21.7 lakh sq.ft. through open e-auction having sale value of Rs. 8751.61 crore.

Shri K.P.M Swamy assumes charge as CMD, NBCC (India) Limited

Shri K. P. Mahadevaswamy assumed the charge of Chairman & Managing Director of NBCC (India) Ltd., a distinguished Navratna CPSE w.e.f. from October 1, 2023. Prior to his appointment as CMD by Govt. of India, he held the charge of Director (Commercial), NBCC, his comprehensive portfolio included the execution of the Redevelopment of 7 GPRA Colonies, the Hon’ble Supreme Court Monitored “Amrapali Group Works,” Real Estate Division, Business Development Division, Central Procurement Division, Overseas works etc.

He shall also hold the responsibility of Chairman, Hindustan Steelworks Construction Ltd. (HSCL) and HSCC (India) Limited, two subsidiaries of NBCC.

His leadership at HSCL as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is particularly noteworthy. During his tenure, he successfully transformed the company's operations from people driven to system driven. Shri Swamy has received many awards and recognitions during this professional career in the real estate sector. He also showcased the various opportunities that the company is pursuing in both domestic and international sectors.

NBCC conducted 20th Auction Sale for World Trade Centre and sold the inventory worth Rs 821.02 crore

NBCC (India) Limited conducted 20th auction for the sale of commercial space in the World Trade Centre, Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi. The Company has sold a total of 1.98 lakh sq.ft built up area for Rs. 821.02 crore, out of which 1.23 lakh sq.ft. area having sale value of Rs. 518.08 crore has been sold to private entities.

Further as on date the company has sold a total area of 17.79 lakh sq.ft through open e-auction having sale value of Rs. 7194.10 crore.

NBCC REPORTS GROWTH IN TURNOVER, PBT AND PAT FOR Q1 FY 2023-24

Highlights of Q1 FY 2023-24

Standalone Turnover jumps 8.50% year on year basis and Consolidated Turnover jumps 7.11% year on year basis.

The Board of Directors in the meeting held on Thursday i.e. August 10, 2023 approved the Financial Results of the company for the Quarter ended on 30.06.2023. Company reported Standalone Turnover of Rs. 1474.71 Cr. for Q1 FY 2023-24 Compared to Rs. 1359.22 Cr. for Q1 FY 2022-23. Consolidated Turnover for Q1 FY 2023-24 is Rs. 1913.79 Cr. compared to Rs. 1786.72 Cr. for Q1 FY 2022-23.

Profit Before Tax (PBT) on Standalone basis increased from Rs. (16.89) Cr. to Rs. 84.67 Cr. and on Consolidated basis increased from Rs. (5.55) Cr to Rs. 103.78 Cr YoY basis for quarter ended 30.06.2023.

Profit After Tax (PAT) on Standalone basis has shown growth from Rs. (13.20) Cr. to Rs. 63.13 Cr. and on Consolidated basis from Rs. (4.85) Cr. to Rs. 77.41 Cr. YoY basis for the Q1 FY 2023-24

A preferred partner of the Government for infrastructure projects, NBCC’s 94.6% of business revenue comes under PMC segment and Redevelopment works.

HON’BLE PM INAUGURATES NBCC BUILT International Exhibition-cum- Convention Centre (IECC), Pragati Maidan, New Delhi

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the International Exhibition cum- Convention Centre (IECC)on 26th July2023. The unique and prestigious complex is built by NBCC. This venue willhost G-20 Leaders Summit which is to be held in September under the presidency of India. Earlier Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed "Pooja" ahead of its official inauguration and felicitated workers who were the part of the construction of IECC Complex.

The IECC (Integrated Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre) implemented at a cost of more than Rs.2600 Cr. has been built by NBCC, a Navratna CPSE under the aegis of Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs as a modern complex as part of the Pragati Maidan redevelopment project. The convention centre is built on an elevated podium, giving visitors a view of India Gate. The Prime Minister applauded the tireless efforts, involvement and commitment in the construction of the project which is now dedicated to nation.

The IECC has the capacity to seat 7,000 people in its multi-purpose and plenary halls combined — larger than the iconic Sydney Opera House which can hold around 5,900 in its various halls.

NBCC inked MoU with MoHUA

NBCC (India) Ltd., a Navratna CPSE, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the FY 2023-24 and FY 2024-25 on 14th July 2023 with its Administrative Ministry, MoHUA, outlining the performance targets for the Company for the FY 2023-24 and FY 2024-25.

The MoU has been signed by Shri Manoj Joshi, Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, on behalf of the Ministry and by Shri P.K. Gupta, CMD, NBCC, signed on behalf of NBCC.

Shri Ravi Kumar Arora (IAS), Joint Secretary (Land & Estates); Shri Sanjeet (IRAS), Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor (MoHUA); Smt. B.K. Sokhey, Director (Finance); Sh.
